About
Glen Ford has spent many years as a programmer, designer, project manager, and IT manager. After many years working for others he returned to his roots as an independent consultant. This was followed by a series of entrepreneurial events involving partnership with others, finally resulting in LearningCreators.com and Trainingnow.ca. This later company triggered the teaching bug in him. When his partner was no longer able to participate, Glen began offering his teaching services as a freelance trainer. The last ten years have been spent teaching the tools he actually used during live training events, online training events, webinars, and in books. When presenting your material he actually understands what you are saying and that understanding is reflected in his voice.
Glen’s hair turned white in 2005 and since then he has been recognized on the street as a certain man in red. After many years of returning the greetings, he decided, at the urging of a professional Santa, to embrace his inner Santa Claus in 2019. This was followed with virtual visits in 2020. Of course, this shouldn’t be a complete surprise as he has been a pirate, an 1812 Ensign in the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, and an 1840s pioneer. He’s also been a Klingon, and a hobbit.
His native accent is Canadian English (Ontario).
